Excess & Surplus Lines Casualty & Property
Aspen writes property insurance in the U.S. on a surplus lines basis through Aspen Specialty Insurance Company. The property account consists predominantly of mercantile, manufacturing and commercial real estate business. Aspen Specialty also writes casualty insurance in the U.S. on a surplus lines basis. The casualty account consists of primarily general liability, umbrella liability and certain errors and omissions insurance. The casualty focus is on premises risks, low to moderate hazard products and selected classes of contracting risks.
