About Us

We are a Bermuda holding company which was incorporated on May 23, 2002.  We operate in three major jurisdictions: the United Kingdom, Bermuda and the United States. We provide:

• property reinsurance in the global market through Aspen Insurance UK Limited (UK) and Aspen Insurance Limited (Bermuda);
• casualty reinsurance in the global market through Aspen Insurance UK Limited (UK) and Aspen Insurance Limited (Bermuda);
• specialty insurance and reinsurance, mainly consisting of marine and energy and aviation worldwide through Aspen Insurance UK Limited (UK);
• and property and casualty insurance principally in the United Kingdom and in the United States through Aspen Insurance UK Limited and Aspen Specialty Insurance Company.

In addition, Aspen Re America, Inc, our reinsurance intermediary, provides property and casualty reinsurance in the United States exclusively on behalf of Aspen Insurance UK Limited.
